Hesitation Blues Band

Based in the Northeast US,  Fred Scholl, John Cassano and Johnny Markowski of The Hesitation Blues Band , celebrate the music of Jorma Kaukonen, Hot Tuna and classic Americana roots.  The love for this music started in our childhoods, and the  challenge and enjoyment playing it continues.

Hot Tuna’s music is a deep, rhythmic conversation between American history and psychedelic exploration. It is the sound of the blues being treated with both respect and rebellious energy.

Born out of the sixties, starting with the Jefferson Airplane, Jorma and Jack have created a juggernaut of followers and a body of timeless improvised music that we thrive to share as best possible.

Hesitation Blues Band is available as a duo, trio or bigger.  Always bringing a high energy engulfing show, the band is available for house parties ,  clubs, music festivals ,cocktail hours, background  or headliner. Give us a call to discuss how we can play together.
